It is now March, so I thought I'd go ahead and wrap up February. Kris's sister, Jennifer, came to visit. It was so nice to have her here! Harrison and Annelise really enjoyed having their aunt around to play/cuddle with.
Annelise is growing bigger everyday. She is now a pro at smiling, but she's a little camera shy (and Kris shy, since I think he is the only person who hasn't seen her smile), so I haven't had any luck getting a picture of it, though Jen was able to capture one. I'll have to steal her picture and post it.
We put up new curtains in the family room...twice. We didn't like the first ones, but our second attempt worked out much better. You can't see it here, but they have chocolate brown stitching around the ends, and a silver ring for the rod to go through at the top.
This was a big step for us because it means we have fully decorated ONE of the main rooms in our house. The kitchen, study and entry way still need some work, but they will need to wait until we finish outfitting Harrison's new room (with accompanying bunk beds) with bedding. He won't move in there until at least this summer, so we're not in too big of a hurry, but finding little boy bedding that we like in both a full and twin size is proving to be a challenge.Lastly, a picture of our much needed, new fence! Isn't it lovely! I especially like how upright it is and how the gate opens with ease. Other great features: it's not rotting, missing board, or being held together by wire. Don't mind the yard. Hopefully the grass will come back this Spring, with some help from Kris.

I am so glad you posted new pictures, I couldn't wait to see them. Annelise is growing so fast and Harrison looks so much more mature now.
They were really enjoying their aunt's visit.
I love the curtains and the fence. Great additions!

I meant to ask if the curtains were new! They looked great!! I loved coming for a visit. It was somuch fun spending one on one time with the kids. As usual, it went by way too fast. I am really sad I didn't get a pic of the grown ups together or one of y'all as a family. Thanks for having me! I love you all!!
