Seen But Not Heard

Harrison really enjoys whispering. He thinks it's really funny or some sort of game. And I ask him to whisper a lot now that the baby is here. Whispering around the baby is an issue, though, because Harrison is my little alarm every time the baby cries or is in the same room (or even if a toy or an article of clothing belonging to Annelise is near)...he yells "Baby! Baby! Baby!" until he is distracted by something else or I acknowledge his alarm enough times. So, it was a nice treat the other day when I was going to get Annelise up from her nap to eat and I asked Harrison to whisper and he whispered, "Baby, shhh" with his finger near his mouth. We walked into the room and all the way up to her pack-n-play where he again whispered, "baby". I thought she might actually get a peaceful awakening this time until he threw his plastic train at her feet and proceeded to shake her pack-n-play...oh, well, maybe next time.

Here is a little video of the newbie for the grandparents (it is long and not interesting):
