We had Annelise's baby blessing at our church on March 21st. In true Texas fashion (or not) it had snowed a few inches the night before and was still snowing Sunday morning. Kris called our church leaders to make sure church was still on. Luckily, they were in the process of shoveling the sidewalks. I say luckily, not because I was in the mood to brave the snow, but because we had a lot of family in town to attend Annelise's blessing and I didn't want them to miss it. So, our family was able to attend the blessing, but most of our fellow church-goers stayed home.
Kris: Lydianne failed to mention that Annelise is wearing the dress that she wore when she was a baby and was baptized into the Catholic church. I thought it was pretty cool to get to pass it on.

I feel terrible that we missed it!! We had no idea yall were doing it that weekend or we would have at least sent one of us there to represent the Rickers :( She looks beautiful!
Don't feel terrible! I would have had Jared up there with us, but because of the snow, I didn't want to make him feel obligated to drive in it.That's why I didn't call and ask first.
