This means we're going to spend one more night at the hospital tonight just to make sure he's good.
The NICU nurse has done an awesome job at getting everything moving to get him discharged. Everything will be complete by this afternoon. The only thing is, however, is that when he gets really mad/upset, he does start to get blue. Because she is always right there to calm him down with the paci, it's never an issue, but she wanted to warn us that if/when we do take him home, this will probably still happen and that he's not totally past the lung issue.
This caused us to re-think running home as fast as we could. So they're discharging Lydianne now, booting us from our room, and moving us into an ante-partum room so Grayson can sleep with us all night without monitors and machines. The nursing staff is available just in case. We anticipate being fine, but we thought this would be better than being all the way home and having a problem. So...one more day.
