In Other News...

So we do have other things going on in our lives other than the baby...although it all pretty much revolves around him anyway. We had our final baby shower yesterday, so now we know what we need to buy. I start my last class tomorrow to earn my masters, and will be done at the end of April. All of that has flown by.

We also have several projects going on around the house, most noticeably new floors going in. We are laying tile in the bathrooms and laundry room, and then wood floors in the family room and office. We currently live in a huge mess. And we have to wear shoes everywhere we go other than the bedroom. We've had the supplies stacked up against walls for a few weeks, but tomorrow it officially begins. The floors have been torn up, all the way down to the concrete slab, and most of the furniture has been deposited into other rooms. So the nursery, which we finally finished decorating, is now totally unorganized and full of "stuff". It's also fun trying to remember to avoid stepping on the carpet tack strips. The dogs seem to be having a harder time remembering than we are. Personally, I think the TV looks great in front of the fireplace and that the kitchen always needed a couch in it, but Lydianne disagrees. We're excited about it being finished by Thursday, but it sure seems far away.
