Goin' to the Chapel

Congratulations Gerry & Jamie! Jamie is my cousin who lives in St. Charles, just west of St. Louis. We were up there this past weekend for their wedding and had a great time seeing family and celebrating. Here is a picture of Harrison with the beautiful bride.Harrison also enjoyed spending time with his cousins, Madison and Dylan, who live in Georgia. They are growing up so fast! Hopefully they will grow up and feel just like extended brothers and sisters, the way we do about our cousins.Harrison and Uncle Derek at the wedding. Derek spent quite a bit of time dancing with him and keeping him entertained. Thanks Derek!Harrison and Grandma. He was totally distracted by all of the dancing. He loves it.Harrison received a Cardinals bat and ball as a gift...it is awesome! He already knows to swing the bat and to throw the ball, so he's on his way. This house used to belong to my grandparents and now belongs to my Aunt and Uncle. This is where we go whenever we go to St. Louis, and I pretty much grew up playing baseball in this yard, so I think it is pretty cool that Harrison will have the same opportunity (as long as they invite us back). So to have pictures of him sitting here in the same yard where there are pictures of me doing the same exact thing is pretty special to me...Harrison & Aunt Sarah having a good time in the backyard. We miss you guys already!
While we were there, on Friday we planned a Family Fun Day. St. Louis has a pretty awesome zoo, and it is totally free. One of the coolest attractions (literally) are the penguins. Here we are out front with Aunt Jen waiting to get inside. They had penguins that like the warm weather?With mommy inside with the penguins. You are literally inches away from them. They push each other off the rocks and into the water. You can get splashed if you're not paying attention.
