While we were in Miami we saw lots of family! Kris was happy because this year the spotlight was not on him being a "gringo". Instead Britni, my brother's girlfriend, and John, my sister's boyfriend, got equally as much attention. It seems like the people in my family started treating Kris like he was just as pregnant as I was, so somehow John became the servant and trash guy.
We had our family baby shower while we were there. My mom hosted, and she did a great job getting together all the food, and making a very impressive diaper cake.
All in all, we had a great time, but I think we both decided that we won't be doing that much driving in one break ever again. It was just too much...and all I did was sit in the car.
