After snowing all day on Thursday and Thursday night, I woke up on Friday and looked out my bedroom window to check for snow (like I do everyday in the winter) and saw this: I jumped up and ran to the front door and found this:All of our footprints and the exposed grass from snowman #2 were totally covered up. In the backyard, it was the same. And my poor Charlie Brown tree was once again completely touching the ground.As much as I don't want to have to make up that day during Easter weekend, at least we actually got to play in snow instead of just sit and look at ice on the road. And since we had anticipated it, we already had made plans to go to the park again. We called up some friends who we thought could make the drive and headed to the park (again) for some fun. Annelise bundled up in her stroller. Our big-wheeled Jeep stroller is awesome.Harrison enjoying the snow. Yeah, he is, I promise.The Kempton's & Mulligan's joined us to play. Lauren Allison stopped by for a bit with her dogs as well. We had a big snowball fight that continued the entire time we were there, went sledding, and built a giant snowman. Who knows if we'll ever get to do that again.
He's really loving it.....and was more than ready today wan't he?? So fun for all of you!! Well maybe not Annelise but she didn't look like she was complaining in the pictures!! Love ya, Grandma
