The big reveal

Now that all of our family knows, we can finally disclose to the world that we are expecting a little girl in January. We are pretty excited to be having a girl since we already have a boy, but I am nervous, too. I have always heard that girls are harder than boys, and I definitely can't imagine having an easier child than Harrison...he has certainly been an angel baby. Also, while it is a bit disappointing going into a store and finding a limited supply of cute boy clothes, I'm a little anxious about having so many cute girl clothes available...I don't need to be spending any extra money on clothes they grow out of so quickly. Besides that, I'm sure this little one will bring lots of sugar and a little spice to our growing family, and I look forward to meeting my little blessing.

We are soooooo excited! Little girls are such blessings. Yes, I would have to say Maddy is harder than Dylan, but it's worth it. The girl clothes are so much fun! I have a lot for you if you want them =)

WHOO-HOO! I knew it--there's girls poppin' out all over the place these days. Shopping for girls is killer--so much more fun and that gets $$$. And FYI, it all depends on the kid--my boys (as you know) have definitely been harder than my girl. But maybe it's the teenage years that kill you. CONGRATS. I'm picturing Harrison with shoulder length hair and a pink bow...

So exciting that you're having a girl! It seems crazy that you're already far enough along to know. I guess that's what happens when you're in a different ward and I don't ever get to see you! ;( You will love seeing Kris with a baby girl. It brought out an emotional side in Jon I never thought was there. And I'm sure Harrison will be such a good protective older brother.
Also- so happy you got your Sienna! I love mine.

A GIRL!!! How exciting. I know Harrison will make a great big brother! I've not looked at your blog in months, so I just saw the VBAC post. Just so you know, I'm there with you. Amanda was c-section, and I had 3 successful vaginal births after her. It has never been a concern with my doctor to have more kids, I'm not going too, but could if I wanted to. Just thought you would want to know.

Congrats! How fun!!!

I'm with Laura, the difficulty depends on the kid. I have 2 extremes of "difficultness" and they are both girls so it's all in the personalities.

Have fun shopping for all the cute little girlie stuff.
