Regression
So when he first started out eating, we were amazed at how well he did. He knew exactly what to do from the first time we put the spoon in his mouth. Not only that, he didn't make a mess at all. Well, now that he's figured out how much he likes to eat, the hands and food are starting to go everywhere. Here we have applesauce and sweet potatoes:

You are correct...it will only get worse.
I like to imagine my family eating dinner with no food on the faces, table, hands, floor or chairs. It's a beautiful picture in my head that I sometimes wonder if we'll ever get to. :)
I think I am going to set a high chair in the backyard for when you come to visit during Christmas.
