Quilt

While in Miami we were given one of the coolest gifts ever! Daisy, who is Lydianne's Dad's cousin (so Lydianne's cousin once removed and Harrison's 1st cousin twice removed) made him a quilt. Hand made. This isn't just a pattern stitched together at the corners; The airplanes are all hand made. And then along the edges are embroidered helicopters. You can see them on the close-up shot below. On the reverse side are little moons on the blue background. We're kind of nervous about Harrison using it because it took so much time and effort and we don't want him to stain it. We are so grateful for the love she put into it. There is a picture of Harrison with Daisy, too. Thanks for a great gift. This is something we (and he) will cherish forever.

It's beautiful! She did a wonderful job. My mother and I read the description and thought that it might have been easier to just say "Lydianne's sister's godmother". I also heard the stitching on the corner. It sounds and looks so beautiful and so does he! :o)
